HarsNet : A thematic network on hazard assessment of highly reactive systems. HarsNet aims at contributing to the design of intrinsically safe processes, giving precedence to prevention in front of protection, and reducing the probability of the runaway to a minimum.
S2S : A Gateway for Plant and Process Safety. The network aims at a) connecting people working on safety topics, b) analysing the future RTD strategy, c) collecting, evaluating and offering available information, d) developing interactive risk assessment tools and training methods, and e) establishing a dialogue to legislation and standardisation.
ESRA : ESRA Association is a non-profit international association for the advance and application of safety and reliability technology in all areas of human endeavour. It is an "umbrella" organisation with a membership consisting of: national professional societies, industrial organisations and higher education institutions. The common interest is safety and reliability.
NEW OSH ERA: The NEW OSH ERA project helped to combine the strengths of the different EU Member States in occupational safety and health (OSH) research.By increasing cooperation and coordination between different research programmes, NEW OSH ERA helped increase the overall scale and effectiveness of the research carried out in the EU. The networking and integration of national programmes helped EU researchers understand the increasingly complicated OSH issues that we face, and so contribute to the productivity and well-being of Europe's workers.
nanoSTAIR: The nanoSTAIR project aim at building a sustainable process and platform in the field of nanotechnologies to support the transfer of knowledge gained through research to documentary standards in the context of the STAIR approach promoted by CEN-CENELEC.
STABALID: The main objective of STABALID is to support the deployment of safe Li-ion stationary batteries with a cell size larger than 10 Ah and systems larger than 1 MWh. This will be done by developing, testing, validating and disseminating a new international standard for stationary battery tests during the course of the project.
SAF€RA: SAF€RA is an ERA-NET and therefore aims at coordinating the research investment among the EU Member States in the field of industrial safety.
nanoMILE: The NanoMILE project intends to establish a fundamental understanding of the mechanisms of nanomaterial interactions with living systems and the environment, across the entire life cycle of nanomaterials and in a wide range of target species.
SafeLife-X: This project will contribute to creating consensus on aging management including potential cascading and/or ripple effects. It will, thus, satisfy the demand within various industrial sectors and help match the EU Grand Challenges and the EU-2020 Strategy, and achieve goals of main stakeholders (e.g. EC, OECD, ECTP, ETPIS…).
Public Safety Communication Europe Forum (PSCE) is a permanent autonomous organisation aiming at improving provision of public safety communications and information management systems and the safety of the citizens during crisis and emergency situations. PSCE provides a unique common platform for researchers, industry and users enabling regular exchange of ideas, information, experiences and best practices.
